The flexibility in your schedule allows a freedom that is only found at camp during the summer. The skills you learn, the FUN you have, the people you meet and all the experiences last a lifetime!
You may wonder why Winona? The mix of trips with waterfront activities, arts and athletics is exceptional. Throw in the special events which happen each week, like totem showings, the BAT, cookouts and evening programs and the time flies by each summer.
Winona has great facilities, which include courts, fields and nearly a mile of waterfront. Winona’s lodging makes for a great summer experience. The youngest boys stay in cabins, with four other tent mates and a counselor. Boys around 10 years old and older live in tents for the summer. The tent has a roof and sides and it sits on a platform. Most days the sides are rolled up to let in the sun and breeze. Each camper has a cot and space for some of his items. Sleeping in a tent for weeks at a time is an experience that can happen only at camp.
